dog food for vitamins

Chicken and vegetables dog food recipe

This one came upon me by accident and my dogs love it.

I prepared a roast chicken for dinner and had some leftovers.  I also had made some broccoli and Cauliflower as a side dish.

I had some left over and placed the copped broccoli, chicken and Cauliflower on a plate, making sure there were no bones in the chicken and placed it in front of my two dogs.

It was a blur!  I’ve never seen two dogs eat so fast in all my life.  It was like a hockey game when the ref throws down the puck and the sticks start flying!  My dogs enhaled it and then wanted more.

Now this begs the question.  Was it the smell that made them crazy for it?  Was it the vitamins in the vegetables that made their bodies want to eat it?  Were they so lacking in vitamins that plan old steamed broccoli and cauliflower tuned them into slavering beasts?

I can tell you it wasn’t the chicken.  Because I’ve put down chicken before and yeah, they have gobbled it up but it was a different type of feeding frenzy.  (lol)

They really really loved these vegetables and it’s so easy to make!  When you make your dinner, steam a little extra for the dogs.  Put it into a tupperware bowl and keep in the fridge.  When they start begging for food, grab those veggies.  They love it!

Dogs with allergies really suffer through them, here is some helpful advice about dog food allergies.
