Homemade Dog Food Recipes
Eggs, cottage cheese and rice recipe for sick dog
A very mild mixture for when your dog is sick or has been vomiting.
In case of Pancreatitis listen to the Vet and ask him what food you can feed your dog.
He might tell you to omit the protein because it is hard on an inflamed organ.
When all else fails try this recipe.
INGREDIENTS:
- 3 scrambled eggs
- 1/4 cup low fat cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked rice
DIRECTIONS:
Cook the eggs and cool. Add the cottage cheese (low fat) and the rice. Mix well. Try giving just a little to your dog. Sometimes you have to be patient with him.
Remember if you dog cannot keep any food or water down for more than 24 hours take him to a vet right away.
He will become dehydrated if he can't get liquids into his body.
This is the mildest recipe I know of. This is only to be used when your dog can't eat anything else.
